WISCONSIN FALL TOURISM CONFERENCE BRINGS TOURISM INDUSTRY TO MANITOWOC
Tourism organizations and businesses from throughout Wisconsin will gather in Manitowoc November 7 & 8 for the Wisconsin Fall Tourism Conference. The conference, themed “Connect on the Coast”, will be held at the Holiday Inn Manitowoc and is hosted by the Wisconsin Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (WACVB).
The 24th annual conference kicks off Thursday with a Rock Your Brand keynote address by Melanie Spring and a re-branding launch for WACVB. Conference breakout sessions will cover such topics as digital marketing, tourism research, and experiential tourism. On Friday, November 8th, Wisconsin Department of Tourism Secretary-designee Sara Meaney will address attendees on how the state agency is marketing Wisconsin tourism. She will also join WACVB in presenting the annual Wisconsin Tourism Trailblazers Awards. The awards are given to tourism organizations that have executed outstanding marketing and partnership projects in the past year.
