The Chippewa Valley Rock N' Roll Kickball Classic

Altoona, WI – The Visit Eau Claire Sports Commission presents the Chippewa Valley Rock-n-Roll Kickball Classic and X Birthday Bash September 19 & 20 at Cinder City Park in Altoona, WI.  The two-day tournament is returning for its fifth year and14 teams are ready to rumble.

The classic is not just for the players – everyone is invited – free of charge! In addition to kickball, there will be live bands including The Heart Pills, Drunk Drivers, Michael Rambo Project, Jaggernauts, and Meridene!  Games begin at 5:00PM on Friday and 11:00AM on Saturday, with music starting at 7:00PM and 12:00PM on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Other activities include free Kubb and Beanbags, and a playground for the kids. There will also be a wide variety of eats and drinks for purchase from Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, What’s Cookin’ LLC, Davis Dogs, Coca-Cola and Leinenkugel’s. This event has something for everyone in the family!

Stick around after the Kickball Classic for the X Birthday Bash Saturday, Sept. 20 at 7PM in the Altoona Hobbs Sports Center.  This all ages event features the bands: Romantic Rebel, Bobaflex, and Devour the Day.  Tickets can be purchased at www.visiteauclaire.com/rockandroll/bands, at the Visit Eau Claire office, Volume One Local Store and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Eau Claire.

All proceeds will benefit the Visit Eau Claire Sports Commission, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing high quality amateur sporting events to the Eau Claire area.  Working with local sports organizations, all money raised will be reinvested back into the economy through sporting events and tournaments.
